Story
On the 9th of October I'm running the Royal Parks Half Marathon in support of Cambridge Cancer Help Centre and also for my wonderful mum.
After successfully battling with cancer, my mum has dedicated her life to helping others with this disease that affects so many people. The mission of the centre is to provide a safe place to come, away from the hospital. They aim to improve the quality of life and offer practical, non-medical, emotional and social support. It's a place that ensures anyone affected by cancer is fully supported, so I'm very happy to be running in support for them.
I started couch to 5k in lockdown, so I'm by no means a natural runner - any donations will be greatly appreciated to get my legs over the finish line!!
