Story
Thank you so much for visiting my just giving page!
As some of you may not be aware I am currently chair of Chelmsford Tindal Ladies Circle, part of a National association of Ladies Circles and Round Tables. One part of the role as chair is choosing a nominated charity for you to support. Given my job as a Veterinary Nurse at Vets Now, and my love for all things feline, it probably comes as no surprise to those who know me that my chosen charity is Cats Protection. Specifically my local branch of Chelmsford as I have seen first hand the amazing work they do.
The story goes that one slightly drunken night in Manchester back in June, myself and another Tindal member-Kirstie Robertson, hatched a crazy scheme as to how we could raise the much needed funds for our chosen charity. Although not fully serious or sober at the time, this scheme has somehow snowballed into the two of us signing ourselves up to the London Landmarks Half Marathon next March 🤷🏻♀️
I would like to point out at this point that I do not run, cannot run, running is my idea of hell on earth! So when I say I’m committed to doing this to help the cats of Cats Protection, what I actually mean is, I will be putting myself through literal hell and back to get myself in shape so that I can finish the 21+km! And if that’s not worth some sponsorship, then I don’t know what is!
Absolutely any amount will help me reach my goal, so whether you can spare 50p or £50 it will all be going towards a fantastic cause.
