I hadn't ridden a bike in 3 years before starting my training, and so decided to take on the challenge of riding 46miles over the hills of Yorkshire. I chose Cystic Fibrosis Trust as my chosen charity as a very close family friend who is only 10 years old was diagnosed with CF as a baby. Her dad set up Team Cystic Fibrosis, a cycling team, to raise money and awareness for CF. Team CF are running the event, and as I am closely linked with the team, I decided to take on the challenge myself to try and raise as much as I could.
