So the story begins...... at a drunken Rugby Club Ball the idea emerged where we came up with the madness of running in relay from Wensleydale Rugby Club in Leyburn to Twickenham to score Wensleydale Rugby Clubs #Longest Try during Half Time of the England vs Fiji game on Saturday 19th November 2016.

Not only is there a relay team but one runner - David Piper - will be running the entire distance!! 

Along with this we have the Seniors rowing the distance we'll be running and the Minis and Juniors running the distance that is marked out at the club with a celebration party at the end for us all to realise our massive achievements.

Our aim is to raise £50k. 10% of proceeds will go to Great North Air Ambulance Service - which has always provided an incredible service to the Club & surrounding community. The other donations will be spent on Phase 2 of the development of our Clubhouse which will see the remaining outdated facilities demolished and replaced.
