Time passes at a scary pace.Our children change and grow by the second and it seems my hair the opposite but faster.

The love and support that my family continue to feel and enjoy is as strong today as it was when Em died and for that I feel humbled and will be eternally grateful.

...Which leads me nicely onto Kirkwood.I am not capable of finding the words to articulate the difference that they made at such a sensitive but precious time in my families life journey.They were incredible. Em found peace at Kirkwood and because of  this ,her family will cherish wonderful memories of our final days together forever.

Kirkwood cannot exist without charitable support so in May I will cycle 170 miles over two days with a team from Carat Leeds  from the west to east coast of England.Two weeks later I will (attempt to)  run the Edinburgh marathon with(well quite far behind actually) Ems friend Louise Taylor.
