Jeffrey's 100 Miles for the RBL
Fundraising for The Royal British Legion
Fundraising for The Royal British Legion
Hello, last year I walked 86 miles - one mile for every year of my life - to raise money for the Royal British Legion to continue to provide their excellent support to members of the Armed Forces and their families and dependents.
That walk, with your help, was such an enormous success and raised £120,000. So this year I've decided to up the stakes and walk 100 miles for the Legion and aim to raise £125,000.
This will be my second 100 mile walk this year but no fear, I'm no stranger to long walks! My first fundraising walk in 2007 I walked 650 miles from London to Lausanne.
I will be covering 20 miles a day starting in Sandwich and finishing at the War Memorial in New Haven on the 11th November in time for the Service of Remembrance there.
I would hugely appreciate your support and all donations big or small are gratefully received.
The Legion is at the heart of a national network providing help and support the Armed Forces community across a wide range of areas from benefit, money and debt advice to war pensions and care homes. Your donations will help the Legion to continue this excellent work into the future.
