It is a well-known fact that cancer will affect one in two during their lifetime. When cancer first affected mom in 2020, we were all scared, but we knew cancer was no longer a death sentence thanks to the tireless work of researchers such as the ones working for the ICR. Although mom's fight is still going, I know it would have ended a lot earlier without recent medical innovations made possible by fundraisers such as this one.
