Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am once again attempting to take on the 26.2 miles of the London Marathon, this time to raise money for Parkinsons UK.

It has been 5 years since I last ran the marathon and I can tell you that time hasn't been kind on my old bones! Training in the cold, dark and wet isn't a great deal of fun but it will all be worthwhile on the day. Whilst some runners may aspire to be the next Paula Radcliffe or Seb Coe, I'm very much more in the Forrest Gump school of relentless plodding.

Parkinsons UK is a charity my family are particularly close to and my Mum has given hundreds of hours down the years to her local group and local people suffering from this debilitating disease.

I appreciate that you've all got more important things to worry about (VAT has increased and Dancing on Ice has started!!), but if you can, please give generously.
