Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

UPDATE - 26 June 2011

Thanks everyone for your support and smashing our target goal of £500! Team Can-UK finished the entire course in 12 hours and 42 minutes coming in 2nd (by 2 minutes) in the Teams division. Although a wet and soggy early morning start, the day turned into a beautiful and great experience for all. We hope to do this again next year and invite anyone who wishes to participate with us in 2012.

Many Thanks,

Louise, Jeff & Jorg

On 25 June, Louise and I will be participating in the 2011 Pathfinder March .  Our charity is the Samantha Dickson Brain Cancer Trust for our little friend "Sunshine".  "Sunshine" was diagnosed in January with terminal brain tumors.  She is 6 years old and unfortunatly will not likely see her 7th Birthday.  Please help us raise funds for our little friend and help support her family and this wonderful charity to help find a cure for brain tumours, especially for children such as "Sunshine".

Thank You!

More about SDBT & Pathfinders March:

Samantha Dickson Brain Tumour Trust is the largest adult and childhood brain tumour charity dedicated to research and support in the UK. Since the charity was set up in 1996 they have raised nearly £10m for brain tumour research and support services and the charity is proud to be the largest dedicated funder of brain tumour research in the UK.

What is the Pathfinder March, you ask? This march is a 46 mile circular route, that needs to be completed in under 20 hours. It is designed to perpetuate the name of the Royal Air Force Pathfinder Force. The Pathfinder March links these four historic stations to create one of the toughest annual events in the RAF’s sporting calendar.
