Story
We're Supporting the Ukrainian Medical Transportation Crisis
As of January 2023, the WHO have verified over 500 attacks against health care in Ukraine, with many of those attacks affecting the medical transport capacity of the Country's health system.
As part of a corporate and personal charitable focus, I'm fundraising with a few other selfless people, to enable our team to purchase, maintain and drive two ambulances in convoy to the border of the Ukraine.
These ambulances ensure that first aid can reach patients who need medical transportation. UK fundraising is a powerful tool in sustaining the country’s entire medical system during and post wartime.
Emergency health-care workers are the first ones to arrive at the scene of an accident and do everything they can to save people’s lives. Thanks to modern ambulances, health-care workers not only provide timely transport for people who are injured or in critical condition from the accident scene to a medical facility, but also stabilise their condition during transport.
