Story

As part of our 40th Ruby Anniversary activities (strongly hampered by Covid-19), we aim to raise money to develop and deliver a programme of training and education to say a huge thank you to all our CARERS across the UK. Please help to help them! During lockdown you will all have been amazed by the sacrifices many carers have made to provide much needed care to the most vulnerable people in our society. The elderly, the homeless and those with learning disabilities are the most likely to have been affected by lockdown and in addition to the risk to their health from Covid 19 they have also had to endure the loss of contact with family and friends. Carers have had to fill that gap and are often the ones least able to access training and education. This is just the start of a programme of support, training and education which the TVS plans to provide for carers during 2020 -2021.
