Story
In October 2016 Jean was diagnosed with Small Cell Carcinoma, a highly malignant form of cancer. Tragically, despite courses of chemotherapy and cranial radiology, Jean passed away less than 12 months later on September 14th 2017.
The final weeks of Jean's life were spent at St Columba's Hospice where the staff and volunteers did everything possible to ensure her last days were as comfortable as possible. Stuart and his family will always be grateful for this. This facility is entirely reliant on charitable contributions and we will be hobbling round the Edinburgh Half Marathon in memory of Jean to raise money to support the wonderful work of St Columba's hospice.
We would be grateful for any donation, large or small, you could make in support of a very worthwhile cause.
