Story

Jean Lilian Gray passed on the morning of the 22nd August 2021 at the grand old age of 95.  By her own account she has lived a long and happy life.  We can only speculate about how the pleasure she gained from the hours spent in her garden contributed to her immense life.  As vibrant in old age as she was in her youth, she will be sorely missed.

In her memory, we have created this giving page to raise money for the National Garden scheme.  This charity invites people to open their gardens to raise funds for nursing and health charities including Macmillan Cancer Support, Marie Curie, Hospice UK and The Queens Nursing Institute.  Over her long and healthy life, Jean was a recipient of the health care services for any manner of ailments.  The care and support she received from medical staff was critical to the time she spent with us and we would like to acknowledge our appreciation of their efforts.

Any amount, large or small would be greatly appreciated.
