Story
AlterG Anti-Gravity Treadmill JustGiving Campaign
Hi, I’m Jeanette, 56 years young and I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) 10 years ago at the age of 46. MS has no cure and plays havoc on your body, mental health, and your life. I see myself as quite fortunate because I am still mobile and independent with the support of aids, support networks and the wonderful therapist and staff at Compass.
I was shown a video clip by my physiotherapist at compass client using the AlterG treadmill. What was so amazing was that I saw Chris Andrews running again. He can normally only transfer and walk a couple of steps.
I decided then that I wanted to embark on an Alternative 3 peaks challenge for people less fortunate than myself to raise £40,000 to purchase an AltG Anti-Gravity Treadmill for Compass a centre that works with those who are managing neurological conditions in the Lothians and surrounding areas.
My alternative 3 peaks Challenge consists of:
Arthur Seat 10th August 2022 (summit)
Cairngorm 27th August 2022 (summit)
Lost Valley 8th October (summit)
The AlterG treadmill has had such an impact on the lives of those managing neurological condition, most importantly on their mental health and wellbeing. Please help me raise the 40K to purchase the AlterG treadmill for Compass, so more people can benefit from this outstanding piece of technology. Please contact Compass on the details below to find out how to get involved with our AlterG treadmill Campaign
