I have chosen to run the London Marathon this year in memory of my brother-in-law Alan Hughes, who sadly passed away from cancer last September. 

I'm certainly no runner, I've only ever run one 10k & one half marathon & always said I'd never run a Marathon, well here I am all signed up but a tad nervous about it.

I am however extremely honoured that Lingen Davies chose me to support their charity along with a few others. 

Unfortunately we have all known too many people who have lost their battle to cancer over the years but we have all known lots of people who have survived & are here to tell their story. The Lingen Davies are a charity that we really couldn't do without.

Lingen Davies Cancer Fund focuses their time, money and energy in 3 key areas; Improving cancer prevention and early detection, Supporting excellent cancer treatment locally, and Supporting people living with and beyond cancer.
