On Saturday 20th June Mum sadly passed away. 

Mum had been bravely fighting Cancer for sometime. Always cheerful, always supporting others and always protecting her family and friends from the extent of her illness. 

Through the support from those closest to her, Mum wished to stay at home for as long as she could before eventually moving into the Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice where she spent her final days under the most kindest of care.

On the 12 July I'll be running for Mum, in celebration of her life and in support of the Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice without whom Mum's passing would have been far more harrowing.

It costs £15,000 per day to run the hospice and I'd like to do what I can to help them provide the same quality of care to that which Mum and I have received for many years to come.
