Story
On the 13th March 2019 we felt instant love when the two lines came up on the pregnancy test and had the most perfect pregnancy. Sadly at full term, on the 25th November we were told our baby's heart had stopped and our beautiful little boy Wyatt was born sleeping on the 26th November at 9.48pm weighing 7lb 1oz.
We are currently fundraising for Sands who are a charity that undertake essential research around baby loss and provide support to parents and families who are bereaved as a result of stillbirth or neonatal deaths.
We never imagined or expected this to have happened to us but the heartbreaking reality is we are not alone in this journey because 14 babies die before, during or shortly after birth every day in the UK.
In 2018 this was 15 babies, however through awareness, research and fundraising this has reduced. It is so important to keep on trying to reduce this number.
We are taking on #Challenge14 to help make a difference to the lives of families affected by baby loss, raise awareness of the fact that 14 babies die every day in the UK and help reduce the number of baby deaths in the UK.
For #challenge14 we aim to get out walking for 14 days in 14 different locations and raising awareness to atleast 14 strangers.
If you could please donate and/or share this post it would be greatly appreciated.
