I have had been lucky enough to have one if the most rewarding jobs -teaching children. Over the years I have had so much pleasure from watching the  children I have taught progress and develop, achieving their own goals and becoming successful in their own ways. As a teacher there is nothing you want more than to protect, nurture and support the little people in your care and encourage them to be confident and achieve their dreams.

However, this is not always that simple and there are many children who are battling many difficulties and do not have the support, nurture, love and guidance outside of the classroom and go home to a difficult and challenging home life for many different reasons. 

To have been the opportunity to run in support of such a brilliant charity, the NSPCC, is a real honour as I know that all the money that I manage to raise will go towards helping those children who are not so fortunate and need protecting and nurture. 

So I would so grateful if you could dig deep and spare any change towards a very worthy cause. Every pound will motivate me to train hard and reach that finish line 🏁😊
