Those of you who know me will realise quite quickly that this will be quite a challenge for me! I am certianly always the first to reach for the chocolate digestives, or pick a chocolate bar over a sandwich at lunch! But the reasons I am doing this don't just include the weight loss involved...
I can bet that each and every one of you knows, or has known somebody who has had or has been affected by Cancer. Cancer is a disease caused by normal cells changing so that they grow in an uncontrolled way. There are over 200 different types of Cancer, and over 890 people are diagnosed every day.
I found out that my biological father was diagnosed with Cancer in 2010, and I have watched as my family and friends have lost their relatives to their individual battles with the disease.
Cancer Research UK is the world’s leading charity dedicated to beating cancer through research.
