I will be taking to the skies in June (damn clouds in April, who’d have thought!), taking part in a tandem skydive to raise vital funds for Macmillan Cancer Support. Cancer increasingly affects us all, and I know we all have own stories of family members, or friends affected by cancer. I work in a Macmillan centre, use Macmillan information, work with Macmillan funded nurses, benefit advisers and with other members of the team adopted by Macmillan to offer access to training and support. They just make a massive difference to the people I look after, and make an incredibly difficult time that bit easier to deal with. So especially for the incredibly brave and special people I look after, what's a few minutes of terror, or maybe fun, who knows! Give what you can, it will all go to incredibly good use.
