Barnardo's is a fantastic charity. It has been providing care and support for the most vulnerable children, young people and their families for 150 years.

Barnardo's is now providing vital support for newly arrived children and their families from war-torn Syria and the surrounding refugee camps. From the moment they arrive at their UK airport, to welcoming them into a purpose made reception centre, the provision of clothes, food, medicine, health care support, trauma counselling, therapy, introducing them to other support services, and much more, right through to seeing them settled in permanent accomdation- Barnardo's project workers walk the journey with them.

I've seen this work in action and witnessed the difference we are making to people's lives, people that have seen more pain and suffering then we could ever imagine.

This money will be dedicated to providing as much additional support for them as they need.
