Thanks for taking the time to visit my Just Giving page.
There are 3 x S's, Stammer, Stutter, and Speech, what's the difference? Can anyone tell the difference, can you?
We are all looking for a way to express ourselves, through sound, voice and expression. One thing we all have, is a voice, doesn't matter what language or accent. Some people say stammer, some people say stutter. At the end of the day, it’s just how some people talk. There is a difference in the way our words, sounds, syllabus and enounces
are delivered.
What we need is for the general outsider to understand whom we are, there is still a mis-conception that we suffer from nervousness, anxiety, forgetfulness, prolonged use of words. This is not the case, we are all the same and have a voice.
Stamma.org is here to help everyone, whether adults or children to overcome the stigma of having a speech impediment. There is no shame or insecurity in having a stammer, have confidence in yourself and use the services to help you.
