Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
The reason I've decided to do this is because this has been an especially bad year for Cancer. I know quite a few people already this year (and it's only 3/4 through the year so far) that have been affected or have died from this horrible disease. Most of these people have been affected by a Cancer that destroys their digestive system, which I have learnt is extremely aggressive and so that's why I have opted to support Bowel Cancer UK.
I will be doing the skydive with my girlfriend, who has recently lost her dad and my mate Garry who has recently lost his grandad both to a Cancer to do with the the digestive system along with the others who have passed away this year. I have always wanted to do something for charity but have never known what. I am absolutely TERRIFIED of heights and so this will be the best way to push my boundaries and also raise as much money as possible for the research and development of new medicines to combat this major killer!
Since booking this skydive and setting up this JustGiving page the tragedy of the Shoreham Air Show happened where a vitnage Hawker Hunter came down on the A27 killing 11 people on August 22nd. I had set a goal of raising £500 for Bowel Cancer UK so anything I raise over that will be given to the families of the deceased who are local people to myself.
I beg that everyone will put their hands in their pockets and help me support these two great causes and carry on this fight against cancer and also in remembrance of those 11 who lost their lives at the Shoreham Air Show.
Please please guys and girls be as generous as possible anything from £1 - £100 will be greatly appreciated and thank you again for taking the time to visit my page!!
