We where inspired by Jamie McDonald, British Adventurer otherwise known as Adventure Man and the Superhero Foundation. Superhero Foundation supports families of both children and adults who have an illness or disability. Recovery from illness, an accident or managing a chronic condition is a long and winding road.There are therapies, equipment and treatments which can relieve mental or physical illness that fall outside the remit of what standard healthcare services, such as the UK’s NHS, can fund. The charity support individuals who want to take on their own physical challenge to inspire people to donate – acting as a unique (registered charity) crowdfunding platform.
