Story
NHS staff and volunteers are doing amazing work right now in caring for COVID-19 patients. Together, let's show our respect and gratitude as they work tirelessly in the face of the virus. It's our turn to make sure we look after them, to ensure they can keep doing their vital work.
My name is Jason, I am 10 years old and I live with my Mum and Dad. I have found the COVID-19 situation very scary and hard to understand. I often sit down and watch some of the news about it with my Mum and Dad.
I really wanted to do something to help so I came up with the idea to walk 1000 laps of my 50 metre backyard to raise some money for the NHS.
As a family we have a lot to thank the NHS for, My Mum is physically disabled with Cerebral Palsy and my Dad was very poorly as a child and spent a lot of time in Hospital. I have also been in Hospital with a serve toe infection. My best Friend's Mum is also a Nurse for the NHS.
In my spare time I am also a St John Ambulance Cadet.
If you could help by giving a little bit of money it could make a massive difference.
Thank You
