Over one sixth of the world does not have access to safe water. In fact, in some of the communities where Fields of Life works, there are no clean water facillities at all. Clean accessible water is a luxury in many parts of East Africa.

Many people suffer sickness and death due to water borne diseases. Valuable hours are lost fetching dirty water over long distances and children miss out or valuable school time in pursuit of water.

It's amazing that something most of us take so much for granted isn't available to so many around the world. The hope is, with your help a a new well will be drilled and hundreds of people will get access to clean drinking water for the first time.
