On 28th August 2020, we lost Ross very suddenly and it has had a huge impact on all of us. Our friendship group lost a member and it has not felt the same since. 

Ross was a true one in a million friend. Its hard to sum up an entire person and what they mean to you and I don't think I could ever do him justice. He cared so much about each of us as we did to him. His care-free attitude to life made him so outgoing and charismatic, often striking up conversations with anyone at anytime... especially on nights out. Every piece of work Ross did  meant something to him, he didn't create something for the sake of it, often influenced by politics and social justice issues,  I admired his talent and ambition in his graphic design work. 

Ross was born with a heart condition but it never stopped him from achieving what he wanted to do. Unfortunately, and unknown to him, his heart had deteriorated and was no longer strong enough to keep him going. 
In Ross' memory we are fundraising for the British Heart Foundation. All 10 of us will spend the month leading up to his 22nd birthday on the 24th June completing challenges, inspired by our relationships with Ross, to raise money.

I am cycling the distance of the Leeds to Liverpool Canal (204 km) over the course of the month.  I currently live in Leeds and Liverpool was the home of two of Ross' favourite things, Liverpool Football Club and the band The Night Café. Some of my favourite memories of Ross are of the gigs we went to. The Night Café seemed to support every act and we quickly grew tired, but as a keen fan, Ross loved it. Pushing each other around in the mosh pit and shouting lyrics at the top of our lungs... I'd do anything to experience that just one more time.
Also since Ross followed a vegetarian diet, I will be doing the same.
