Story
Last summer, my daughter Sophia was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia (ALL). At the time she was 17 months old.
Sophia has undergone a range of treatments, both at Bristol Children's Hospital and the Royal Devon & Exeter hospital. Her condition means she often needs to visit hospital daily, or have visits at home from the nursing team.
In the autumn we were introduced to Exeter Leukaemia Fund. They have supported us with lifts to and from Sophia's appointments, some extra money to help get us through Christmas, and lots of informal support, chats and encouragement.
I don't know where we would have been without them. I decided I wanted to give something back. So I am now raising funds so ELF can keeping helping other families like ours.
Jumping out of a plane terrifies me, but I know that it's nothing compared to what my brave little girl has been through. Every gift makes a difference, so please consider sponsoring me so other families in our position can get the help and support they need.
