Jason's AFF Level 1 Skydive
Fundraising for Nottingham University Hospitals Charity
Fundraising for Nottingham University Hospitals Charity
Hi, our son Teddy was born on the 23rd of November last year. He died unexpectedly the next day, we only had him at home for a few short hours. In the dark days that follow we have found support at Zephyr's Centre, a homely bespoke unit sitting in the grounds of City Hospital away from the busy clinical areas. Zephyr’s provides an important addition to the clinical support already available for parents and families at the hospitals. This includes professional bereavement counselling, peer support sessions and therapeutic activities. Importantly, they also provide a quiet space for parents to meet with hospital bereavement staff, away from clinical areas. Just to know that such a place exists is comforting, it's somewhere peaceful you can go for a chat and a cup of tea, or just a quiet space to read a book and think. Zephyr’s is supported by a community of bereaved families, and funded entirely by the generosity of donors and fundraisers. With your help they can continue to provide compassionate care.
I will be doing the AFF Level 1 skydive to raise as much money as I can for Zephyr's.
100% of the money I raise will go to Zephyr's. I will be paying for the jump myself.
