Campaign by Wuth Charity (RCN 1050469)
By providing an extensive refurbishment to the Neonatal Unit including world class medical equipment and enhanced parent facilities we hope to make a difficult time a little bit more comfortable

Story

James was born in Arrowe Park Hospital 13th June 1989 and passed away 2nd June 2022 at 32 years old. James had a heart of gold, an infectious laugh and would do anything he could to help anyone no matter how big or small. His generosity and kind heart was his best trait.

In 2013, James shaved his hair off whilst sat in the pub after work. This was in aid to raise money for Alder Hay for a poorly girl that he did not know- but he knew it was for a good course. He had a big heart and would help in any way possible.

James’ mum, dad and siblings- Chris, Danny and Chloe and his son Noah (age 4) are all devastated from the lost of James. He has left a massive whole in their lives. To keep James’ memory alive, James’ Dad is abseiling down Arrowe Park to raise money for the Tiny Stars Appeal Neonatal Unit at Arrowe Park. Doing this, Jay will be dressed as Cat in the hat- one of James’ and Chloe’s favourite films growing up.

Please help by sponsoring James’ dad to abseil down Arrowe Park Hospital on the 12th May, by doing so it will help the Tiny Stars Appeal.

Last year almost 400 babies were born needing extra help in the first few days and weeks of their lives from the Neonatal Unit at Wirral Women and Childrens Hospital, Arrowe Park. WUTH Charity needs to raise £1.5 million to extensively refurbish the Neonatal Unit and we want to help! The money we raise will help tofund the refurbishment to the Neonatal Unit including world class medical equipment and enhanced parent facilities. We want to help raise the funds needed to provide the best possible Neonatal Unit for the babies and their families.

Thank you for your support!
