Story
I'm running for SLOW, a truly fantastic charity that is close to my heart. SLOW is a London based charity run by bereaved parents and siblings. The bereavement support they provide is a lifeline for many, giving bereaved families the chance to connect and share their experiences with others who are going through similar experiences.
SLOW means a lot to me and my family. Many of you know our story, some of you will not. Sadly, we lost our wonderful daughter Esme, when she was nearly two years old over twelve years ago. Since Esme's death SLOW has been a lifeline to us, so much so, my wife Kelly now works for the charity, helping them to continue and expand their services.
I appreciate that we all get inundated with sponsorship requests, so please don't feel any pressure to donate. However, if you can spare a few pennies, it will be massively appreciated, SLOW is a small charity and achieve so much with limited funds. Any donation will enable the charity to continue supporting bereaved parents, like us, who have suffered the devastating loss of a child.
By the way, SLOW stands for 'Surviving the Loss of Your World' which says it all.
Thank you
Jason
