Story
I am super rubbish at these things, so bare with me...
I have wanted to donate my hair for a long time now. It was when my best friend, Charlotte was diagnosed a week after our 15th birthdays, with Pre B Lymphoblastic Lymphoma - a type of cancer treated like leukaemia. When she 'Braved the Shave' before loosing her own hair, I couldn't help but want to do it with her. At first, she didn't want me to and two years down the line... She still doesn't want me to. Only, I've decided that I'm going to do it anyway (lol sorry mate xoxo). So at the end of January next year (2018), I will be shaving off all of my hair to show my insane support for her and other children and young adults who are/have been through such an impacting experience.
I would specifically like to raise money for this wonderful charity that has helped and supported Char and her family. The CLIC Sargent, with donation funds, was able to give Charlotte her own nurse. She could go to this nurse immediately and on a personal level. As well as being able to make visits to her home and school, meaning she wasn't always having to make trips to the hospital. Not only am I raising money, but I will also be donating my hair to the Little Princess Trust where they make extraordinary wigs for young women.
I am so excited about this and I just want to say how much of a brave and compassionate person Charlotte is. Through everything, she had the ability to make me - or anyone at all- laugh, even when she might not have been feeling herself. I'm never normally this nice or soppy towards Char, but to be able to say you are my best friend - that's sick. You honestly have inspired me so much and continue to inspire me every day, you are an amazing person. So even though this is only something little, I hope I can show how much I care through this as well as helping others who are just as cool as Charlotte.
So please guys, donate whatever you can. Pennies all add up and whatever you donate will be so appreciated.
I love u Char B X
