Story
People who spoke to me after my first half marathon may have heard me say I never wanted to run that distance again. Yet here I am, less than a year later having signed myself up to run double the distance. On 3rd April at 9 am, I’ll be at the start line of the Paris marathon, about to take on 26.2 miles.
I am running to raise money for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust, in memory of my friend Sarah who sadly lost her battle to CF in 2012, aged just 20. The funds I raise will help to support vital research for new and better treatments and hopefully, one day there will be a cure for this horrible disease.
The early morning runs, hours of training and attempts to lay off the wine are by no means going to be easy. So please, dig deep and support this amazing charity by donating whatever you can.
You’ll also help get me to the finish line faster...
Thank you!
