Story
Thank you for visiting my page. I’m running the London Marathon on 2nd October 2022 to raise money and awareness for Sarcoma UK, a national charity that funds vital research, offers support for anyone affected by sarcoma cancer and campaigns for better treatments and improved diagnosis.
In January 2021, my wonderful mum Debs was diagnosed with a rare form of sarcoma. Mum was an absolute trooper despite the trauma on her body from surgery and chemotherapy.
A couple of months into regular check-ups following treatment, unfortunately, a scan showed that the cancer had spread. The side effects from treatment are a daily challenge for mum, yet she is determined to knock the stuffing out of this hideous disease, and I’m in awe of her incredible resilience.
We are all so proud of you, mum.
Observing the extraordinary strength and bravery that mum shows every single day has inspired me to accomplish something that I thought was beyond my reach. The London Marathon represents that for me. I want to push myself physically and emotionally.
And I’m going to need your help to get me over that finish line guys! Your support would mean the absolute world. If you can and would like to, please donate.
Thank you for your amazing support x
