Dear friend,
Thanks for visiting our fundraising site..
Here’s what we’re doing.
We’re cycling 100 miles (that’s163.93km or 6,336,000 inches - either way you look at it, it’s a long way) in one day, from Bath to London. We’ll probably be on the bikes for approaching 10 hours, which is a mighty long time to be sitting on one of those things even with padded cycling shorts.
It’s going to be tough and physically challenging and they’ll probably be a few tears along the way (mainly from Rich), all we’re asking you to do is show us your support by donating whatever you can.
Here’s what we’re doing it for
Kunyanja School is a thriving secondary school in a beautiful corner of Northern Malawi.
From its origins with a few children in a tiny room and a few benches today 250 children study on this site donated by the community and in beautiful buildings built by local people with funding from hundreds of people in the UK and elsewhere.
Against the incredible odds of daily life, the inspiring staff and students have created a wonderful place of learning, and despite the ongoing challenges it is going from strength to strength
We have been working together with them for more than six years now. Please help us to continue to support their great work
- improving education for hundreds of children
- giving access to school to many orphans and vulnerable children
- ensuring that those who qualify for university are able to take up their places
- developing new projects in the wider community
Thanks so much for your support
Rich and Jason
ps. Thank you to the Charities Advisory Trust/Good Gifts for continuing to look after our project.
