In June 2021 our mum was diagnosed with non-small cell lung cancer. Following 18 months of treatment we sadly lost her on Saturday 3rd December 2022.

Our mum was always an extremely passionate and selfless person. She always put others first. She was the definition of a kind soul, wherever she could help, she would be helping. 

She was a very dedicated and proud woman and put all her passion into her work. She was the co-founder of Atam Academy, and was also the vice principal of Khalsa Primary School. Giving children the best education and ensuring their welfare was always at the heart of everything she did at every school she supported.

She had always been a huge supporter of Khalsa aid and had raised money for them in the past.

Any donations will allow Khalsa aid to continue to help those in need around the world and will keep our mum's memory alive as giving back to the world was something she strongly believed in.
