Story
So its been some time since I've raised any money for charity. Asking people to give up their hard earned cash for something I feel passionate about is always difficult. So before embarking on an event I have a few questions I ask myself
1. Is the Charity worthwhile and can people appreciate the value it add ?
So I've picked YoungMinds a UK charity that focuses on the well being of Children and Young adults. It is something I have personally used and I feel at my age a number of people I know with Children can also use. As well as helping the children / Young adults, it also helps parents understand the pressures of dealing with issues in the modern world.
2. Is it possible ? Everything is possible. but it can't be easy or whats the point
3. Will i enjoy it ? Definitely not. Well nobody is going to give me money to do something that I will enjoy.
4. Will it be rewarding ? Yes. Anything that pushes the human body and mind to do something thats its not trained to do is always rewards. And the pain is worth while as I get to raise money for a great cause.
help me raise the cash and awareness for YoungMinds
