I'm going to be abseiling down the side of the Windsor building at the Leicester Royal Infirmary in July 2023  .

Dementia is a growing problem in society and one close to my heart as my father, once articulate and bright is gradually becoming a victim of this debilitating disease which affects not only the individual but also those who love and care for them. When my father really needed a safe place to recuperate we were introduced to the Evington Centre. The staff in this small unit showed patience and care not only for my father but also for other members of the family.

I am raising funds for the Evington Centre so that it can continue to make a difference for other families in their time of need as it did for my family.
