Donating my hair to a charity that provides wigs for children · 10 July 2020

The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or to other conditions. The charity is also one of the largest funders of childhood cancer research in the UK.

Story

Janvi heard about children donating hair to charity and had asked me what it was for.  When I had explained that poorly children often lose their hair with treatment and the hair donations are used to make wigs, she straight away replied "I will give all my hair then".  This will be happening on the 14th August and I will post videos / pictures. I am so proud of her selflessness even at such a young age and am dedicating this fundraising to all family and friends that have lost loved ones to cancer. Please donate to help fund the production of the wigs, as these can costs up to £550 per wig.

Charity: When a child loses their hair to cancer or another condition, we'll be there with a free, real hair wig to help restore their confidence and identity. We won't stop until the research that we fund ends childhood cancer forever. Promise. Please visit us at www.littleprincesses.org.uk to find out how you can help us give young people back what cancer takes away. The Trust relies solely on the efforts of enthusiastic community fundraisers. We receive no formal funding. Please help to raise money for us so that we can help more families.
