I know I have run a few marathons before, but this one (number 8) is the first one in my 40's!  Let's see how my time deteriorates with this age milestone (and the amount of alcohol I have consumed since February trying to forget )

As I am running London this time which is such a big charity event, I thought I would try and raise some money.  And guidedogs?  As many of you know, I am really short sighted, and so I like to raise money for this cause.  I first raised money for them in my first ever half marathon - The Great North Run about 8 years ago - as this was going to be a complete one off, never to repeated event.  How times have changed....
