Me and the Fantastic Few are doing the cancer research #SHINEwalk in London this September. Everyone has their own story about how cancer has affected them. Not many people know, but my mum had cancer (an embryonic rhabdomyosarcoma) at the age of 12.

However we are very lucky to say that she beat cancer! Although she is still having problems with her breathing today, many of her difficulties are due to the long term side effects of the treatments that saved her.

Thanks to the team of doctors around her, I have an amazing Mum and I’m so proud to be her daughter! And I would like to raise money so other people can have amazing mums like mine!
