Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page. (Please read to bottom of page)
Me & my sister, Michelle Costello will be climbing Mount Snowdon on the 8th September in the hope that we will raise lots of money for Brake.
Brake is a charity that exist for a simple reason - because every 30 seconds someone, somewhere in the world, is killed in a road accident.
Like adults, children affected by road death and injury need loving support and information. Losing a Mum, Dad, Brother or Sister is devastating for a child. It is often better to tell children things through honest discussion and involve them in decision making rather than keep them in the dark and leave them excluded in an effort to protect them from the truth. Brake is instrumental in the education of Road Safety to children and adults alike and spearheads many Road Safety initiatives such as Fleet Driver Training, Young driver training and Sudden Bereavement training.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
On a lighter note: Michelle's daughter Laura recently performed a 'Country' song live on stage! Laura thought she sounded like Shania Twain, however....................
We think this embarrassing footage (in our gallery) deserves a donation from all who view it.
Please give generously,
Thanks,
