Story
It is with deep sadness that my best friend and wife Janice passed away peacefully at the Cynthia Spencer Hospice on the 4th December 2016.
Janice had been diagnosed with a rare and very aggressive form of breast cancer earlier this year. Janice undertook a tough regime of chemotherapy, radiotherapy, testing, scans, set backs, and more surgery than most can endure.
Janice never complained once about the cards she was dealt, instead focussing on the current days problems. She never once said "Poor Janice" or "Why Me?" Janice just focussed on beating cancer. Janice is an inspiration to everyone that knew her during these difficult times.
Janice's resolve to regain mobility was unprecedented and surprised health professionals. Janice maintained her sense of humour throughout.
Cynthia Spencer provided absolutely fantastic support for Janice during her palliative care, making the necessary arrangements and support at home. Janice was treated with dignity and respect and the team here did an awesome job helping look after her.
Janice wanted to give back this organisation, and I ask for your help by contributing an affordable amount instead of flowers at this difficult time.
Thank you,
Jason
