I am fundraising to support the people of Afghanistan. Afghanistan is in the grip of a catastrophic food shortage half of the population dont have enough to eat. Now, the bitter cold is setting in, with temperatures dropping to -20C. The Disasters Emergency Committee, of which Tearfund is a part, have launched an urgent appeal. Donating to my fundraiser today will help Tearfund local partners provide emergency food packages, as well as distribute winter kits to help families who have lost their homes stay warm. The generous donations of supporters have already made a difference hundreds of families have received life-saving support. But the situation is getting worse every day.
