I am running the London Marathon for FSID because a colleague of Sean's at Seven lost his 19 month old daughter to Cot Death in 2011. The team at Seven have been raising money for the charity with a number of events through 2012 and I decided it was about time I made a contribution.

Having joined the team running for FSID I have read many sad stories of families who have lost a baby to cot death. They demonstrate how the charity has provided invaluable support to bereaved families and of course we need to support the charity in their work  to help avoid future deaths.

I have never run more than 13 miles and have been training though the winter months along with Nats through rain and snow. Its a big challenge for us both and we intend to put in a good effort for our chosen charities.

For those local to us we will be organising some fundraising events so i'll keep you posted.
