Donations to Leukaemia UK in loving memory of Janet Freeman who very sadly passed away aged 88 from leukaemia on 30th March 2020
Janet was a much loved mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, friend and member of the community. She was caring, gentle, self-less and brighten the lives of all those who knew her.
Janet spent 46 years happily married to her late husband, Charlie. She was a loving mother to their two children, Stephen and Christine and a devoted grandmother to Joseph and Amy.
Janet enjoyed life and was known and loved by so many. She loved her job in her local East Kent Mercury shop for 23 years, where she adored her customers and they adored her. Throughout her life Janet always enjoyed travelling the UK and abroad and during her retirement she gained many memories and much happiness from traveling with her close friends. But most of all she was devoted to her family.
After leading an active, independent and happy life, Janet was very sadly diagnosed with leukaemia this on February 13th and passed away March 30th. After being diagnosed terminally ill, one of her final wishes was for donations to be made in her memory to the Leukaemia UK charity to aid vital research in treatment for this potentially life threating illness and also provide essential support for those sadly effected and their families...
Thank you for any donations that are received
