Story
Hi everyone, as most of you probably know, five years ago I had open heart surgery. What many of you probably don’t know is it was because i have a hereditary condition called hypercholesterolaemia. Ever since this has happened we have wanted to give something back, and now that I have lots of time on my hands I feel now is a good time to do it.
Imogen and I have decided to do a sponsored 10k walk on Sunday February the 14th. We have worked out a route from our house to hunstanton and back again to keep within the government lockdown rules.
Heart uk rely on donations and have no government funding. They work hard to offer support, raise awareness, campaign for patients to get a diagnosis and help reduce premature deaths from high cholesterol, a major risk factor for heart attacks and strokes.
I know that things are financially difficult at the moment for lots of us, but we really would appreciate it if you could sponsor us to raise money for this great charity.
