On Thursday 2 March George & I are going to run the 4x4x48 running challenge, 

We are running it 24 hours ahead of the actual challenge to fit in around our work.

Starting at 8pm Thursday 2 march, we will run 4 miles every 4 hours with our last run being Saturday 4 march 4pm.

In addition to this we are going to add an extra 4 (and a bit) miles on so we can say we have run the equivalent of 2 marathons in 2 days. 

I only heard of this challenge on New Year’s Eve and I couldn’t stop thinking about it. After 2 weeks of persuasion George agreed to do it with me too!

The hardest bit will definitely be coping with the lack of sleep and sore legs, but I am sure we will manage it, and we have enlisted some friends to help us run some of the legs with us…. But no one for the midnight or 4am runs as yet !!

We wanted to raise money for a local charity and decided on CancerCare.
