Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I started running to keep fit and help with weight loss and then weight maintenance. I have competed in a 5k and a couple of 10k races and a friend suggested trying the half marathon so I decided to sign up and give it a go.

I know  lots of people are looking for sponsorship for many brilliant causes, particularly at this time of year. However, this seemed like a challenge and cause some of you may wish to support.

We lost our good friend Graeme to a brain tumour in September 2013 and I thought that if I can raise some much needed cash for this charity as a result of me completing this run it would be well worth all the effort.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
