Story

I have lost three very special relatives to this cruel disease, Great Aunty Ethel, Mother-in-Law Janet and most recently Uncle Bill.

My wonderful precious Mum is living with the disease too and it's heartbreaking to see that very special lady affected the way she is.

Alzheimer's Society Singing for the Brain has given Mum so much joy over the past few years and I hope that my fundraising will help support this vital service. £400 could help deliver eight virtual singing for the brain sessions a month, so that services can continue to connect with people affected by dementia in the comfort of their own homes.

Thanks for your support x

Update 30th January 2023

Since signing up to Trek26 in November 2022, Mum passed away in December leaving a huge void in our lives. She touched so many people's lives with her kindness and beautiful smile. I now have even more reason to complete this challenge.
